Alright! A second blog post, how cool is that?
Yeah, I know. Not very.
Well you know, life goes on…..the best intentions of mice and men and all that sort of thing. No, really. It’s all just a big experiment. This blog. Life in general. What slice of life would you like to try next?
Some slices of life are a choice, and some slices you have no choice but to enjoy….erm…experience. Aging for instance.
No matter that, every season has it’s unique beauty to be enjoyed.
And at the moment, I listen to the Big Band sounds of Jerry Gray and his Orchestra playing ‘A String of Pearls’, as the sun has set behind both the clouds and the horizon. A winter storm approaches, threatening a fresh half-foot of snow, and deep cold air to follow.
We had a classic White Christmas here in Montana. You couldn’t have asked for much closer to perfect. Just after sunset on Christmas Eve, large snowflakes filled the quiet air, falling gentling and relentlessly without a wind to disturb them. The neighbors Christmas lights now glowing under the new snow upon the tree branches and boughs. A fresh three inches to begin Christmas day.
So now we approach the end of the year of our Lord, two thousand and fourteen. Every year we look with hope towards a New Year that holds a better future than the one before. It’s not a bad sentiment. Hope is a witness to Faith.
Happy New Year!
May your slice of life treat you well!
